Palmeiras Resort, the latest residential development in the Algarve

The new, luxury Palmeiras Resort near Tavira in the Algarve is the latest development by international property group, Casa Amiga.

Having been involved in property development since 1998, the company's Directors are also active in a wide range of manufacturing and service industries with proven successes as shareholders of some of the world's finest brand names in interior design and furnishings.

In recent years The Casa Amiga Group has increased its international profile significantly and has succesfully undertaken projects in Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Slovakia, Panama and Mexico.

For this latter development it joined forces with two of the most influential Spanish financial institutions, Bancaja and Banco de Valencia, setting up a joint venture company, Groupo Grand Coral.

The Group has already invested in major five-star hotels and resorts throughout the world including the ultra-luxurious Emerald Resort in Cancun, Mexico (see www.emeraldcancun.com.mx).

Casa Amiga Group has invested significantly in the Eastern Algarve and has a ten year plan for developing high quality residential resorts in the area.

The new Palmeiras Resort will be the flagship development for the Group in Portugal and, with an overall spend of over €200 MM, this is by far the most significant development ever undertaken in the Eastern Algarve, setting new standards for resort in the region.
